Conference
The first conference of the
Connecticut Nursing Research Alliance began in 1997 and has been occurring annually ever since. The
Connecticut Nursing Research Alliance planning committee is made up of university faculty as well as health care institution staff. A plenary speaker was incorporated into the agenda in the third conference in 1999. Nationally known speakers
present the latest evidence on conference topic theme and the
remaining conference offerings showcase scholarly activity
completed by Alliance organization members. Local
students have the opportunity to present their graduate
work. Nurses and other members of the healthcare team who
participated in a Research Roundtable can present on their
project and its outcome.
