Benefits of participating in Research Roundtables :

  1. Develop and enhance skills for evidence-based practice.

  2. Faculty support for the conduction and evaluation of scientific evidence to address your practice question(s).

  3. Meet other colleagues who share similar interests.

  4. Enjoy a lively dialogue that promotes a spirit of inquiry and connects the nurse to practice standards.

The greatest benefit from each Fall and Spring Roundtable is to attend all four offerings in each series, BUT this is not required. You can learn a great deal from just attending any one of the sessions. (Example: At Hartford Hospital participants register for each session by calling the Health Referral Service at 860-545-1888. This enables them to receive articles and other handouts prior to each skill-building session. "Walk-ins" are also welcome.)
