Purpose of the Research Roundtables

The Connecticut Nursing Research Alliance sponsors a Research Roundtable each Fall and Spring to assist nurses and nursing students in the conduction of evidence-based practice. These roundtables offer participants the opportunity to develop or enhance their skills in:

1. Formulating a literature search strategy
2. Critiquing research findings
3. Determining applicability of the evidence for practice

Roundtables are conducted on current clinical and practical needs. Faculty for this Alliance activity meet regularly to identify topics for each offering. If you and your colleagues have a practice related topic that you would like sponsored by the Alliance, please contact Laura Caramanica, RN, Ph.D. at 860-545-3217 or lcarama@harthosp.org.
